Toyota Appoints Edward Neyer AS Director of Dealer Operations

(TMHU), the supplier for the No. 1 selling lift truck in North America, today announced the appointment of Edward Neyer as director of dealer operations. In this role, Neyer will oversee the operations of dealerships owned wholly or in part by Toyota from the company’s overall base of more than 70 authorized Toyota Industrial Equipment dealers and more than 220 forklift dealership locations throughout North America.
“Neyer brings more than three decades of experience in the material handling business, in particular at the dealer level, to TMHU,” said Alan Cseresznyak, senior vice president of administration at TMHU “He is a welcome addition to our team and will help strengthen our dealer network.”
Prior to TMHU, Neyer was the vice president of service operations at Pon Material Handling in Houston, Texas. Neyer’s tenure in the material handling industry also includes serving as president and CEO of Portman Equipment Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. Throughout his career, Neyer has successfully overseen dealer operations that resulted in increased market share, revenue and profitability.
Neyer is a graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he received both his master’s degree in business administration, and his bachelor’s degree in marketing.
