Linde Receives Bespoke Andover Trailers
转载 2010-09-18 15:09 roadtransport Source:roadtransportAndover Trailers has delivered five new bespoke trailers to forklift truck manufacturer Linde Material Handling.
The tri-axle, step-frame, beavertail trailers have been designed with TSE sliding roofs and curtainsided bodies to cope with the high-mast forklift trucks Linde makes.
Each trailer is fitted with a 16,000lb remote-controlled Superwinch, swing-out pillars, and hydraulic lifting floors and ramps that will help the drivers with up to six deliveries a day and cover 100,000km a year.
The trailers also get 14 pairs of lashing points and reinforced floors to support trucks that weigh up to 16 tonnes.
The new units will replace existing trailers and are the first Andovers since Linde approached the firm more than ten years ago. "We did look at other manufacturers," says Linde rental and transport manager Audrey Gordon, "but the quality of Andover's trailers brought us back."
