NEW BREMEN — Crown Equipment Corp., one of the world’s largest manufacturers of lift trucks, is marketing a new forklift intended to reduce maintenance outages.

Crown said its C-5 Series forklift is designed to last longer than comparable, internal combustion forklifts and needs less frequent maintenance, keeping it in action longer on warehouse floors. The vehicle is powered by an industrial John Deere engine.

Crown makes lift trucks sold worldwide to customers including retailers, logistics and distribution companies.
