Doosan Group Yonkang Foundation (Y.H. Park, Chairman) held a ceremony to commemorate its publication of the book, Joyful Science Expedition by Science Teachers, at Doosan Art Center in Yeonji-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, on August 19.

The book consists of records of the personal experiences of the elementary, middle and high school teachers who took part in the “Fourth Science Teachers’ Overseas Academic Tour” program, which the foundation offered in January.

Notably, the book contains vivid accounts of science teachers’ tours of science facilities and museums in Japan, and is expected to become a good reference work among the education community.

Yonkang Foundation has been running the Science Teachers’ Overseas Academic Tour since 2007 for winners of the “Science Teachers of the Year Award” as one of its overseas study tour programs. So far, the program has taken 141 teachers on overseas study tours.
