NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C. — A forklift operator is dead after a dock collapse in North Vancouver.
RCMP Cpl. Peter Devries says police were called to the scene about 3:20 p.m. Wednesday after the forklift tumbled into the water.
Devries says two workers were moving the forklift and some equipment when one of the pontoons under the dock gave way.
The second person wasn't injured.
Devries says divers located the man's body still inside the forklift and the coroner was called to the scene.
