Barloworld Handling has announced a preferred supply agreement with cleaning machine manufacturer Hako.

Barloworld will supply a complete range of high performance Hako cleaning machines for commercial and public sector operations, from large road sweepers through to small vacuum cleaners.

Graham Jones, General Manager UK Sales at Barloworld, one of the UK's largest materials handling suppliers, explains "We offer all types of industrial equipment and cleaning machines are no exception. Hako is a leading European brand, which we will supply and support in operations nationwide, ranging from retail, warehousing and food and drink, right through to the chemical and pharmaceutical industries".

Hako's industrial sweeper and scrubber dryer range is renowned for its efficiency, reliability and ease of operation, helping to keep facilities clean, safe and working to their optimum.

The full Hako range includes 15" to 95" head scrubber driers, manual and ride on sweepers, sub-compact road sweepers, commercial vacuum cleaners, single disc polishers and burnishers. In addition, Hako is the only European cleaning machine manufacturer to have the EMAS accreditation, the increasingly influential Environmental Management and Audit Scheme.

"We will be supporting all types of applications with high performance industrial cleaning solutions, including operator training. We will work with businesses requiring single machines and those needing several machines across multi-sites" Graham adds, explaining that purchasers can link the supply and maintenance of Hako cleaning machines with their materials handling fleet through Barloworld, helping to reduce cost and the number of suppliers.
