Bulgarian President Parvanov Visits Hyundai Heavy
转载 2009-10-27 17:29 HHI Source:HHIBulgaria's President Georgi Parvanov visited Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) in Ulsan on October 26, 2009.
Parvanov and his party watched HHI’s company film and took a tour of the shipyard led by Mr. Min Keh-sik, vice chairman and CEO and Mr. Choi Kil-seon, president and CEO of HHI.
After the shipyard tour, the President visited the transformer manufacturing plant and expressed his interest in HHI’s technology. He showed his hope that both countries will make efforts to develop bilateral trade.
HHI established its subsidiaries for transformer production and sales of electro electric systems in Sofia, Bulgaria. The subsidiary recorded $5.7 million in sales for 2008. The company target is $7.5 million for 2009 and $10 million for 2010.
President Parvanov visited cultural relics in the southeastern ancient capital Gyeongju on October 25. He will hold a summit with President Lee Myung-bak this afternoon. Parvanov will also participate in a business forum during his three-day state visit.
