Sencorp, a manufacturer of thermoforming and sealing machines designed for consumer, medical, electronics, and pharmaceutical packaging, and White Systems, the originator of automated carousel type storage and retrieval technology for manufacturing plants, warehouses, and distribution centers, have announced the combination of the two industry-leading companies under a newly organized holding company, SWS/TEK, LLC.

In early 2009, White’s Kenilworth, N.J. manufacturing operation was relocated to Sencorp’s 155,000-square-foot facility in Hyannis, Mass.

The teaming of White and Sencorp provides operational benefits and cross-selling opportunities to both companies.  Like Sencorp, White is a leading brand recognized for quality and durability.”  Urban said, “In order to leverage over 60 years of industry experience, White will maintain a technical support center in New Jersey”.                                          

Sencorp and White’s sales forces have already identified a number of applications where Sencorp/White products provide solutions for a customer’s material handling and packaging problems.  The medical device, pharmaceutical, and electronics industries use Sencorp/White machines to package, inventory, and manage high-value, sensitive parts.

Customers will benefit from combined field service support provided by technicians strategically located through the United States.  Sencorp/White services include predictive and preventative maintenance programs, machine upgrades, regularly scheduled maintenance and operator training sessions, and retrofit kits, in addition to existing industry-leading OEM parts availability and help-desk support.

Sencorp branded products include Sencorp Thermoformers, CeraPak automated in-line sealing machines, and CeraTek medical pouch and tray sealing machines.  Sencorp is the licensed exclusive manufacturer of Enviroshell sustainable package sealing machines.  

White branded products include horizontal and vertical storage and retrieval carousels, vertical lift modules, and light-directed inventory management and distribution systems.  White Systems offers a comprehensive suite of Windows™ based proprietary inventory management and pick software and controls.
