(Mar. 3, 2009)- Designed with a multitude of value-added features, the new Genie® TML™-4000 light tower was introduced today by Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP), a business segment of the Terex Corporation (NYSE:TEX), at the American Rental Association’s The Rental Show in Atlanta, Ga.
The new TML™-4000 offers such features as a durable Kubota engine, galvanized mast, and standard 120V and 240V outlets. Quick disconnect fittings on the lights and ballasts help make routine maintenance quick, preserving uptime. Numbered and interchangeable ballasts, galvanized for corrosion resistance, also make troubleshooting straightforward and repair simple.
“The new TML™-4000 maintains many of the popular features of its predecessor, but delivers even more features and benefits at a more competitive price,” said David Spears, Product Manager, Terex AWP. “This is a great all-around light tower. It will stand up to the rigors of the rental industry and other tough applications.”
Quick-deploy outriggers make setting the light tower up on unlevel surfaces straightforward. Horizontal, square cast aluminum lights feature tool-less Quick Aim™ horizontal and vertical light casing adjustments. Each of the four lights can be adjusted individually to focus light where it is needed most. A durable galvanized mast is resistant to corrosion, helping to increase the lifespan of the unit.
Boasting a 30 foot extended height, the TML™-4000 provides excellent illumination at long distances. 360 degree tower rotation delivers pinpoint light positioning. The TML™-4000 also features a 30 gallon fuel tank, providing up to 60 hours of run time per tank of fuel. When stowed, the light tower measures 54 inches wide and 171 inches long.
Customers may also customize their TML™-4000. An export racking option makes it possible to get 16 units in a container to maximize shipping efficiency. A Perkins engine option is also available.
The new Genie® TML-4000 can be seen at the Genie booth, No. 6152.
