Once again Merlo has established itself as a future-oriented company as far as technological innovation is concerned.

The Sima show in Paris provided an international stage for the presentation of a wide range of machines for agriculture and farming.

Two new telescopic handlers were previewed in Paris: each of them brings out its own features as a high-level multi-purpose machine.

The new Multifarmer 40.9 CS, a large tractor with a telescopic boom, is proof of Merlo’s supremacy in technological innovation.

It’s as strong as a carthorse, and it was designed to epitomize the concept of versatility in all handling and lifting operations, both indoor and in the open field.

It offers the same speed and power as a farm tractor, and additionally it is equipped with a telescopic boom which allows loads of up to 4 tons to be handled at a height of up to 9 metres.

Multifarmer 40.9 CS is equipped with a 7 ton rear three-point linkage, as well as with front and rear full-power mechanical PTOs.

This model comes standard with the unique hydro-pneumatic CS system (Cab Suspension) by Merlo.

Panoramic P 25.6, the other new model presented at the show in Paris, is top of the class among compact machines.

The small high-performance telescopic handler, which is only 1.8 metres wide but offers top safety and comfort, is safe and reliable, and can handle loads of up to 2.5 tons at a height of 6 metres.

One of its advantages is the possibility to have the rear three-point linkage, the hydraulic PTO and the type-approval as a farm tractor as options.
