FAW Jiefang Automotive Co., Ltd. Dalian Engine Company Branch is one of the earliest enterprises to test manufacture vehicle engine, and now is the specialized production base of vehicle engine for FAW Jiefang Automotive Co., Ltd.

Dalian Engine has light, medium and heavt duty engines of five series which are CA4DC, CA4DS, CA6DE, CA6DF and DEUTZ. The products are not only provided for FAW Group, but also matching for 50 domestic automobile manufacturers and exporting to more than 30 countries and district along with the vehicles.

Dalian Engine has established international cooperative product development system, owning modernized design center, test center, test manufacturing center and Post-doctor working station to fully consider the differences among customers on using environment and customs. The company cooperated with world famous engine manufacturers from Germany, Austria and Japan to make corresponding improvement and update on technology and allocation, enabling the products to comprehensively meet the demands of customers on the function, reliability, economic and individuality. The products can reach European Emission Standard III on the basis of Standard II. DEUTZ project under construction will realize Dalian Engine a world-class engine platform production base.

Dalian Engine has established complete quality management system and has passed ISO/TS16949:2002 Quality Management System Certification firstly in the same industry in China.
