After developing various types of back-up power systems, Kipor didn’t stop its research and development into additional applications. To provide users more convenience and benefits, KIPOR recently enhanced the capability of industrial machinery with new power systems.

The KIPOR mobile light towers can be applied for diverse applications such as construction sites, emergency, industrial, mining, civil engineering and special event lighting.

All of the light towers are equipped with either Kipor high quality digital or conventional generators.

The newly launched mobile light towers feature strong wind-proof abilities and a large area of illumination.

KIPOR’S compact mobile light tower is equipped with 1000, 4000 or 6000 watt qualified halide lights which are designed for a compact and efficient installation. You can choose a suitable power level light according to your requirements.

Both the telescoping mast and the illumination angle of the light tower can be adjusted easily. The tower is designed as user-friendly for operation and handling.  

Wide lighting area

KIPOR KLTD11000T applied parallel lamp structure is more efficient than competitive lighting systems and provides up to 50% more light output. In addition, the unique top structure of the lamp shade directs up to 10% of previously wasted skyward light to the work site.

User-friendly designed operation

Most of operation of the light tower can be controlled from one control panel.

A. The LED clock

You can preset the starting time of the light tower.

B. The time counter

It will count the total running time of the light tower.

C. Alarm lights alert the operator to any unsatisfactory condition immediately.

D. The parallel-connected lamps give you more lighting options.

E. An “Auto” switch position and then the “Photo eye” position enables the light tower to sense the change of ambient light. As light diminishes, the light sensor will send a signal to the unit and the light tower automatically starts.

F. If the switch is in the “Timer” position, the user can preset the starting time of the light tower.

Compact engine-generator structure

 KLTD11000T incorporates an 1800 rpm liquid-cooled diesel engine coupled to a 6 KW generator. Direct injection ensures a low engine noise level. The unique air fan provides excellent cooling performance as well as reduced engine noise.

The fold-up doors and side panels provide necessary ruggedness to meet the demands of the job site.

Easy for transport

The light tower is equipped with automotive quality wheels and tires suitable for any road surface. A connecting hitch and steel cable is provided for connecting to towing vehicles.

Dual application

The generator inside the light tower can be used as back-up power for emergency applications.

There are two receptacles on the mast of the light tower. You can switch off the lights and then connect another electrical load to get a quality power output from the generator. The receptacles can be configured to your voltage requirements of 110V, 120V, 230V or 240V.

Internal Structure of Metal Halide Lamp

The lumination of the metal halide lamp produces light through the electrical discharge of its internal gasses. Therefore, there is no worry about filament breakage and a longer service life is achieved.  Contrarily, an Iodine-tungsten lamp gives light by charging the filament which will easily break or deteriorate over time. The lamp cannot be used again once the filament breakage has occurred.
