Rodrigo Chibior has been named as the new Facility Manager at Perkins’ Curitiba, Brazil, manufacturing plant.
In this role, Rodrigo will be responsible for leading the operations, manufacturing, engineering and supply chain teams in Curitiba. The facility builds Perkins® 1100 Series range of 4 and 6 cylinder mechanical and electronic engines which are used by the region’s leading machine manufacturers in agriculture, construction and electric power.

For the past 13 years, Rodrigo has undertaken a number of leadership roles within the company’s manufacturing area, during which he has delivered superior quality and a robust on time delivery performance. Most recently he led improvements to our lean journey by optimising manufacturing efficiency and successfully implementing Built in Quality and Caterpillar Production Systems principles.

A mechanical engineer with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), Rodrigo also completed the Powering Up and Growing Great Managers programme by Darden Business School at the University of Virginia, USA.
Rodrigo replaces Wilson Lotério, who retired from the company in October.
Perkins’ Curitiba facility opened in 2003 and has the capacity to build 80,000 engines a year. It was recently named as the seventh best place to work in Brazil by The Great Place to Work Institute.
