Calling it a "semi-compact" machine that provides "full-size performance in capacity and lift height" Manitou is launching the new MLT 634 to round out the series in the North American market.
The machine features a maximum 7,000-pound lift capacity and a maximum lift height of 19-feet, 10-inches. The machine is designed for material handling tasks including livestock feeding, and loading and unloading applications.
Power comes from a 122-hp Interim Tier 4 Deutz diesel engine. The machine also features the Power Shuttle Torque Converter transmission offering four-speed drive with one in reverse. Max torque is 343 ft.-lbs. And Power Shuttle shifting provides easy direction changes with no need to clutch, boosting productivity and reducing fatigue. And the torque converter is designed to offer optimal torque for speeds from 0 to 21 mph.
Fully features Manitou MLT 634 takes aim at the ag market with a semi-compact machine with solid lifting capacity.
The machine features Manitou's patented Duplex boom design for a more compact structure. And thin-walled, quality high steel provides for an overall stronger design, the company notes. A reduction in machine weight of internal components boosts lift capacities with only a minimal increase in machine size.
The MLT 634 features a fully enclosed cab with heat, defrost and air conditioning, and a deluxe adjustable suspension seat. Switches and controls are also grouped according to function.
The machine features a 12-foot, 4-inch turning radius for easy maneuverability on the farm too. And the telehandler features a quick-fit mounting system for easy change out from one attachment to another. Standard auxiliary hydraulics offer up to 39.6 gpm of flow to power those attachments too.
