SATO, a global leader in barcode printing, labelling, and EPC/RFID solutions, has announced the establishment of a new European central Logistics Centre in Wroclaw, Poland. The new dedicated centre will enable the company to optimise its customer service and back-office operations, ensuring more efficient and effective logistics and deliveries throughout Europe.

Situated in SATO’s European production and shared service facility where it is integrated with other in-house operations, the new central Logistic Centre will allow SATO to handle its stock of spare parts and products more efficiently.

“Our commitment to offering customers the very best levels of service was behind our decision to open this new central Logistics Centre,” commented Makoto Hayama, Managing Director at SATO International Europe. “Replacing our previous Logistics Centre in Rotterdam, the new centre is ideally located at the very heart of Europe, near the German border to effectively deliver our wide range of barcode printers to our European customers.”

With all current orders for barcode printers being transferred to Wroclaw, the new European Logistics Centre will also play a key role in delivering sales productivity and enhancing sales performance for SATO moving forward.

Among the many products currently being distributed from the new Logistics Centre is SATO’s new CL4NX series of industrial barcode printers.
