With Heathrow Terminal 2 having just opened, Bradshaw Electric Vehicle has a new vehicle arriving to ensure waste and recycling is not delayed.

The Pedestrian Controlled PT50 has been supplied to ISS World, one of the world’s leading Facility Services companies. ISS World specialise in providing the full range of facility services to public agencies and private sector companies across a wide range of markets.

ISS World will be putting the new Bradshaw vehicle in to Terminal 2 to move waste and recycling from storage to compactors, ready for collection. Reducing manual handling and safety were key priorities for the facilities management company, ensuring that stringent safety requirements were met and the manual handling risk minimised.

A three-wheel vehicle, Bradshaw’s Pedestrian Controlled PT50 has great maneuverability to tackle the airport environment safely. With a payload capacity of 500kg, it was the perfect solution for moving portable wheelie bins, ensuring the job is both quicker and safer.
