An impressive combination of compact design and high performance makes CESAB Material Handling’s new CESAB P300 range one of the most manoeuvrable and easy to use powered pallet trucks on the market.

The low height and 730 mm chassis width of the CESAB P300 deliver excellent all round visibility and productivity, with capacities of 2000 kg and 2200 kg, a travel speed of up to 10 kilometres per hour, high acceleration, fast lifting and high battery capacity ensuring that the range is ideal for operations where long travel distances and intensive applications, such as loading and unloading, are required.

The CESAB P300 automatically reduces its speed and acceleration when cornering, helping to improve load and operator safety while keeping productivity high. An innovative power steering option helps to prevent strain injuries by providing excellent ergonomics, with the length of the tiller arm optimised to each variant, to ensure superior manoeuvrability. With this option the height of the tiller arm’s pivot point can be adjusted with the push of a button, which allows operators to tailor the settings to suit their height. Safety and productivity are maximised by the CESAB P300’s power steering - quick and responsive at low speed and easy, steady steering at higher speeds.

Built to the highest quality standards using the world renowned TPS*, the CESAB P300 offers a modular design and fewer parts, which mean less maintenance and maximum uptime. The new range employs a fixed AC motor which does not rotate when the tiller arm is turned. This reduction in the number of moving parts results in a further increase in reliability.

When the CESAB P300 is on the move, the CESAB Traction Control system automatically adjusts drive wheel pressure, depending on the load, to maintain excellent traction during movement and braking and helping to eliminate wheel slip.

The standard creep speed facility allows the truck to be operated with the tiller arm in a fully upright position, further enhancing manoeuvrability and operator control when using the truck as a pedestrian, even in the smallest areas of a warehouse or on a lorry.

CESAB P300 trucks are equipped with PIN code access with ten codes available for each of ten different operator profiles. This helps eliminate unauthorised operation of the truck as well as eliminating downtime due to lost or broken keys.

Andreas Lindsjö, product manager warehouse trucks, CESAB Material Handling Europe: “Our engineers have invested their significant experience and expertise in the warehouse sector to design a powered pallet truck that more than meets the demands of any busy materials handling operation. Our commitment to the highest levels of visibility and manoeuvrability can clearly be seen in the truck’s compact, modular design, as is our dedication to constantly improving productivity and safety, with the CESAB P300’s speed management capability and range of ergonomic features.

“We believe the CESAB P300 will bring a high level of performance to the most demanding of warehouse and manufacturing operations and we look forward to demonstrating this to customers across Europe in the coming months.”
