The automation solution iGoEasy from STILL was awarded with the internationally sought after International Forklift Truck of the Year Award (IFOY Award) in the category AGVs, i.e. Automatic Guided Vehicles.

Yesterday the International Forklift Truck of the Year Awards (IFOY Awards) were awarded for the second time. For the first time the event took place at the CeMAT. After last year the STILL RX 70 Hybrid was presented with the IFOY-Award, STILL again is a triumphant winner of the competition which is patronised by the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy. The worldwide first system solution for applications with low transport volumes, which can be completely configured, controlled and monitored from an iPad convinced every member of the jury at full length. “The idea is irresistible. The developers at STILL made automating industrial trucks so simple that any customer can install the system independently and adjust it if the requirements change,” is how the judgment panel reasons its vote. Worldwide there is no comparable product.

Laudator Wilfried Neuhaus Galladé, Director of the Association of Conveyor Technology & Logistics Systems VDMA said: “Automation is an art with very special requirements for development. Whoever wins this category is one of the most innovative companies in the whole of the intralogistics industry.”

Thomas Fischer, Director of Sales at STILL received the award in front of 350 invited guests at the Convention Centre on the fair grounds in Hannover. “It fills me with great pride, to receive the IFOY award on behalf of the great teamwork of everyone who was involved in the project,” said Fischer.
