Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A, Inc. (TMHU) today announced Toyota Genuine Parts ranked highest against competing brands in all four categories measured in the 2013 Lift Truck Parts Study*. Material handling professionals that participated in the survey rated Toyota the highest in terms of reliability, durability, quality and as the best value for the money for their lift truck parts.

The annual survey, conducted by Peerless Research Group, gauges what material handling professionals consider as the most important attributes for lift truck parts purchases and which brands of lift truck accessories lead in these key factors.

"Toyota parts have built a reputation for their high level of quality and durability, and this survey validates the company's commitment to delivering the highest caliber of genuine parts and accessories to help our customers' lift trucks run at optimal performance and maximize their investment," said Terry Rains, vice president of aftermarket sales for TMHU.

Responses were collected from more than 300 industry decision-makers, readers of Modern Materials Handling magazine, involved in the purchasing of material handling equipment, products, technologies and services. The majority of those surveyed are plant managers, distribution center and warehouse managers, and corporate managers within manufacturing and distribution facilities across a wide range of businesses and industries including automotive, food and beverage, machinery and wholesale trade.

Respondents' comments regarding Toyota lift truck parts, included:

Our Toyota never has down time, it just keeps on going.
While being in business with Toyota the majority of our lives, our repairs have decreased and our operator satisfaction has increased.
Toyota parts offer the best overall package from ordering to delivery to installation to longevity.
