External corporate and brand communications to be headed by Manfred Höhn
Linde Material Handling GmbH, a leading manufacturer of industrial trucks and warehousing equipment and a member of the KION Group, will restructure its communication activities and merge its brand and corporate communications depart-ments effective 1 May 2013. Detlef Sieverdingbeck, who has been the Head of Corporate Communications since July 2010, will be leaving at his own request at the end of April to take up new challenges outside the company. His position will not be refilled.

Manfred Höhn, who is currently in charge of Brand Management and Brand Commu-nication within Linde Material Handling’s New Trucks sales division headed by Dr. Ralf Dingeldein, will in the future also be taking care of the company’s external communication activities in addition to his current responsibilities.

In addition to his line function, Höhn will report directly to the Chairman of the Man-agement Board for Linde Material Handling GmbH, CEO Theodor Maurer, where cor-porate communication issues are concerned and will work together with the Head of Communication for the KION Group GmbH, Michael Hauger.

Theodor Maurer, CEO of Linde Material Handling, thanked Detlef Sieverdingbeck for his dedicated work on behalf of the company: “During the past years, Mr. Sieverdingbeck has contributed significantly to the successful international position-ing of Linde Material Handling at the forefront of public awareness as a technology leader with great innovative strength. With Mr. Höhn we have found a new Head of Communications from our own ranks who will be able to seamlessly continue Mr. Sieverdingbeck’s successful work, also thanks to his long-standing experience in Linde brand communication.”

Before leaving the company at the end of April, Detlef Sieverdingbeck will complete some crucial projects, including LMH’s participation in the 2013 Hanover Fair, to en-sure a smooth transition.
