BEST CREATiFES 2013 honours the iF-winning designers, companies and universities, giving them the opportunity to internationalise their profiles and share their successful working philosophies

With an iF gold award for its BT Optio L-series in 2012 and two other iF labels on the BT Levio and the Toyota Traigo 48 forklifts in 2009, Toyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE)’s Design Department is one of the best in the world. To celebrate and promote all design professionals in the iF ranking, the iF Design Media – specialist publisher for multinational publications with a focus on design and architecture – launches the BEST CREATiFES book 2013.

This exclusive reference book features a detailed portrait of TMHE, its design team and the philosophy behind its winning products. A creative company constantly evolving with customers to provide high quality forklifts to the market, TMHE is honoured to participate in raising design awareness at an international level.

Magnus Oliveira Andersson, Head of Design Center at TMHE, gives an insight into the ideas and the work that lead to the final product that the customer receives: “TMHE places the greatest care in developing material handling solutions that combine safety, durability, productivity, driveability and simplicity for our customers. When designing a truck, we make sure that the appearance strengthens our brand and our world-leading quality,” he says.

Launched on February 22nd during the iF design awards night 2013 to which almost 2,000 guests attended, the book benefits from worldwide distribution via the book trade and online book trade.

TMHE’s award-winning forklifts are also featured in the iF online exhibition.
