Portianga, a Caetano Group company, has reached an agreement with AUSA to import equipment to Mozambique.
AUSA has achieved a new milestone on the expansion in the African continent reaching an agreement with Caetano Group to import AUSA equipment to Mozambique. Gabriel Almeida, Paco Pérez Salinas and Santiago Tazón (African Markets Director at Caetano Group, Group Commercial Director at AUSA and Africa Area Manager at AUSA respectively) met a few days ago at AUSA’s Head Office in Manresa to formalize the contract.
Mozambique is one of the key markets in Africa and has shown a strong growth during 2011. According to the AEO (African Economic Outlook), Mozambique has had a turning point during last year due to the first overseas coal export: “(…)the birth of Mozambique as a world exporter of minerals(…) [is] paving the way for the country to secure its future fiscal sustainability through yields from natural resources.”
In that sense the AUSA equipment can be of a great help for the country contractors. AUSA provides a wide range of solutions for industrial and construction proposes and together with Portianga, AUSA can give an outstanding service and support to the mining and quarrying in Mozambique.
