The Supervisory Board of STILL GmbH has extended the contract for the Chairman of the Management Board, Bert-Jan Knoef (51), beyond the current appointment expiring in 2013 for another four years. Knoef will lead STILL until 2017.

“Straight forward, future-oriented and unerringly was the manner in which Bert-Jan Knoef has developed the market position of STILL in the past four years in his role as Chairman of the Management Board. The clear, unmistakable position of STILL is an essential condition for the profitable growth that STILL plans for the coming four years,” explains Gordon Riske, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of STILL GmbH.

“I am very pleased about the confidence the Supervisory Board has in my work. This signal encourages me to pursue the course set for the growth consistently in the future as well. The great number of innovations in services and software solutions and the mature range of hardware products, puts STILL in an excellent position to participate in the re-started growth of the market for warehouse trucks and intralogistics. In the future, a holistic approach to all customer needs will determine our strategic considerations more than ever, because  an all-embracing customer satisfaction always comes first for STILL“, said Bert-Jan Knoef in an initial statement commenting the extension of his contract.

Bert-Jan Knoef has been member of the Management Board at STILL GmbH since 2005. Before that he was in several executive roles in sales and service at Linde Kältetechnik. From 1985 until 1998 he was responsible for several international management positions in the Black & Decker group.
