Yale has introduced an IC engine powered forklift truck designed for the medium duty application segment of the market.

The LPG and diesel  powered 2.0-2.5 tonne capacity LX series has a single speed powershift transmission, drum brakes, welded frame and pneumatic profile solid tyres.

The LX  includes features from Yale’s Veracitor VX range which was originally designed for applications that demanded a high specification.

Tom Pickering, Yale’s senior product strategy manager, said: “The LX is an ideal truck for a 20 - 30 hours a week application in home improvement stores, wholesale and retail outlets, secondary distribution,  third party logistics and independent retail applications. More demanding and intensive applications for example pallet networks or large industrial users should always specify the Veracitor VX range.”
