Joint venture with TPZ d.o.o
Better basis for long-term growth
Linde Material Handling has further strengthened its sales business in Croatia with effect from 1 March 2012. The European market leader in forklift trucks signed a joint venture agreement with the renowned Zagreb-based distributor “TPZ d.o.o”. TPZ has over 24 years of expertise in sales and servicing of forklift trucks and warehouse handling equipment. Currently employing about 50 staff, the joint venture named “TPZ Linde forklifts Croatia d.o.o.” has its head office in the Croatian capital of Zagreb (Novoselska 25, Dubrava).
“Thanks to our clearly expanded capacity we now have an excellent basis upon which to implement our long-term growth strategy,” Jens Menneke, Sales Manager Eastern and Southern Europe at Linde Material Handling, explains the motivation. The joint venture will safeguard the distribution and servicing of Linde vehicles in Croatia. In the past, these tasks had been the responsibility of Linde MH, carried out through their subsidiary “Linde Vilicari” based at Samobor.
Ivan Kutija, Managing Director of TPZ Linde forklifts Croatia d.o.o., is looking forward to this challenging task: “For decades now, Linde has been a world-famous brand and is successfully doing business in Croatia. We hope to continue and effectively expand this success in the interest of our customers through even better support and services.”
