Nissan's 1F Series forklift is said to combine superior reliability and productivity with low emissions and running costs.
Offering a QD32 diesel engine and ECCS petrol and LPG engines, the 1F Series forklift was designed to produce less Co, HC and NOx emissions compared to carburettor models, Nissan claims.
In fact, according to Nissan, the 1F Series is the only forklift on the market that can burn gas fuels through an electronic fuel injection system, resulting in fuel consumption reduction up to 22.5%, in economy mode, over previous carburettor models.
It also offers ultra-low noise levels which are said to help reduce operator fatigue and allow the operator to hear the surrounding environment clearer.
When service is required, the self-diagnosis system and easy maintenance access assure that the time required for maintenance and service is kept to a minimum, Nissan claims.
A further cost saving is available through the development of its three piece overhead guard. This is a part of the forklift that is commonly damaged and by law it must be replaced if the integrity of the overhead guard is compromised. Nissan claims that, on competitor's forklifts with a one-piece guard, a replacement can cost upwards of $7,000. On the Nissan 1F series, individual sections of overhead guard can cost as little as $650.
