China Forklift Agency Association (CFAA) held the inaugurating meeting in Guangzhou Grand Royal Hotel on November 30, 2011. 39 member companies and more than 50 people attended the meeting, including the forklift dealers, spare parts dealers, maintenance service suppliers, forklift renting companies, used forklift sales companies, media and exhibitions in the forklift industry. 

At the meeting, the leader of the preparation team of CFAA Zhao Jiming firstly reported the establishment background and preparing process of CFAA. Mr. Zhao analyzed the developing status of forklift industry in China and put forward a new understanding of aftermarket in the forklift industry concluded from several forklift after market seminars. According to Mr. Zhao, the companies in domestic forklift industry all agreed that the forklift agencies should organize and establish their own association as soon as possible so as to make full use of the advantages and expand the aftermarket of the forklifts on the basis of grasping the great commercial opportunities and looking forward to the future development. On the China Forklift Aftermarket Development Seminar held in August 2011 in Shanghai, the preparing team for establishing China Forklift Agency Association. After intense but orderly preparation for three months, now China Forklift Agency Association organized by the forklift companies was officially established.

The functions and missions for China Forklift Agency Association included:

1. to establish a platform for the forklift agencies in China to conduct industrial activities, study the reforming and developing issues of the industry and organize the communication meetings to make economic and technological communications at home and abroad;
2. to organize professional technological trainings, offering product recommendation and enquiry service;
3. to play the role as the linking bond and bridge among the manufactories, users and dealers to perform the negotiating function;
4. to formulate and monitor the implementation of the industrial rules, and to construct the self-adjusting mechanism to maintenance the order of industrial development;
5. to reflect and coordinate the requests of the member companies, carrying out consultancy service to safeguard the legal profits of the member companies and the enterprises in the forklift;
6. to cooperate with the related organizations to make the various standards required in the industrial development;
7. to conduct the data statistics and collect the information related to the forklift industry, serving for the sustainable development of the industry;
8. to organize technical and business training so as to improve the workers’ quality;
9. to introduce the financial investment units to provide better services for the development of the forklift companies;
10. to conduct the activities that were favorable for the forklift industry according to the requirements of the member companies;
11. to accord with the principles of promoting the industrial development, helping the enterprises to increase profits and returning to the society, actively taking pat in the industrial and social public activities and finishing the related affairs entrusted by the superior department and other organizations.
