On October 19, 2011, the 110th China Import & Export Fair (Canton Fair) was successfully closed. No matter on the quantity or the quality of the visitors, this situation of this fair was much better than the past one held in spring. Hunan SUNWARD Equipment Group exhibited their new series of equipment products at the fair, and received a number of intent orders. A continuous stream of visitors went to the stand of Sunward to enquire about the specifications and prices of the equipment, some of whom came to the fair with the ordering demand.

According to Sunward, they proceeded well on the expansion of EU market and the emerging markets. From the angle of the quality level of the visitors, the number of customers that conducted commercial negotiation and customers that had the intention to cooperate with Sunward greatly increased. Some international large-sized logistics enterprises and professional purchasers at the fair were also attracted to Sunward’s stand. The customers received by Sunward were mainly from Europe, America, Middle East, Asia, Latin America, India and Russia, 70% of whom were the old customers of Sunward.

The SWEF series of XIAOJINGLING forklifts from Sunward was highlighted at the Canton fair 2011. This series of forklifts had won the award on the 2nd “Lotus Prize" International Industrial Design and Innovation Competition. From October 15 to 18, nearly a thousand of customers inquired about the information of SWEF forklifts, and 20 customers signed the intent orders for SWEF forklifts. This sufficiently reflected the starring position of SWEF forklifts at the Sunward stand.

After 12 years’ hardworking, Sunward Equipment Group had become a model of integrating production with research and development in the construction machinery industry in China. In 2011, there were over 150 projects under development in Sunward, among which nearly 100 were about the development of new products. At present, all the projects were running in a great status. It was informed that before attending the Canton Fair 2011, Sunward made use of all the information platforms to contact with their customers and enlarge their promotion scope in order to stabilize their old customer clusters and attract new customers. During the Canton Fair, the workers of Sunward explained in detail each questions from the customers, and the customers also drove the forklifts by themselves to experience the ergonomic designs of Sunward brand. The forklifts from Sunward were well received among the customers.
