On Apr 8, Suzhou, Linde Cup China Forklift Skill Competition – Jiangsu Region Finals was successfully held in Suzhou Properties Logistics Park.

After two months of city level competition in Jiangsu Region, 21 winning teams made it into the region finals. All the contestants came from well known companies such as Black & Decker, Gold Hongye Paper, Gree, FOXCONN and JOTUN.

In the opening ceremony, Mr. Chen Tao, General Manager of Linde (China) Jiangsu Region said: "By holding such a competition, the skills and efficiency of the operators will get a progress, the logistics cost of customers will be reduced. Linde hopes to help customers to achieve high efficiency logistics.”

“We’re glad to see all excellent contestants together in our logistics park. The aim of Global Logistics Properties is to build and manage high-quality muli-tenant distribution facilities. And Linde (China) have high-quality product and comprehensive service to meet higher market requirement.” says leader of Suzhou Properties Logistics Park.

The competition included two programs of individual and team, which can both test the driver’s skill and cooperation capacity. In the individual competition, the players fully showed their speed, accuracy and stability, which also demonstrate the flexibility, accuracy and efficiency of Linde electric counterbalance forklift. The team competition is a greater need for team spirit, which can only be successfully finished with perfect cooperation of two players. Cheers and bursts of applause came from the audience for the excellent performance of the contestants and Linde forklift truck.

During the interview with Suzhou TV station, contestants from Black & Decker said: “We’re very excited to be able to participate in Linde Cup Jiangsu Region Finals. We’ll express our sincere thanks to Linde (China) for providing us such a good platform to compete with other excellent players.”
After one day of intense competition, the winners who will qualify for the National Finals to be held in 2011 are as follows:
