Effective January 1, 2011, the previous Jungheinrich Managing Director in China, Jan Willem Jongert, has passed on his responsibilities to Alexander Özbahadir. As from 2011 Jongert will concentrate his activities on expanding Jungheinrich sales in the entire Asia-Pacific region.
 
On January 1, 2011, Alexander Özbahadir has assumed sole management of Jungheinrich Lift Truck (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in China. The 32-year old succeeds Willem Jongert, who will henceforth be responsible for Jungheinrich’s entire Asia-Pacific business. Özbahadir has been active in a series of different functions for Jungheinrich in Shanghai since March 2007. Most recently he managed the sales and marketing division there.

Along with his previous function as Vice President Asia Pacific, Jan Willem Jongert also served as Managing Director of Jungheinrich Lift Truck (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. As of the coming year the 46-year old Jongert will oversee the expansion of all Jungheinrich Asia-Pacific sales activities from his Shanghai base.
