GREENVILLE, N.C. (November 26, 2010) – November is a season for giving. In keeping with this month’s theme, NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc. (NMHG) presented a check for $55,000 to United Way of Pitt County. As a sponsor of ECU athletics, the check presentation took place during today’s football game versus SMU at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
"NMHG is proud to have raised $55,000 through charitable employee donations for United Way of Pitt County,” said Jonathan Dawley, VP of Marketing, NMHG. “Even during these trying recessionary times, NMHG employees put others first. This is a true testament of what our company and employees stand for. I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of such a giving and selfless organization.”
Cecelia Scott, executive director of United Way of Pitt County, was on the field to receive the check from Dawley.

They are wonderful corporate citizens.”
