This was the verdict of the many visitors who packed the Combilift and Aisle-Master stands at this years IMHX show which recently took place at the NEC in Birmingham.
With a main stand of 250 m², a separate hospitality area and live displays there was no shortage of highlights to draw the crowds. Thirteen exhibits, most of which were either new models or which incorporated new design features were on show, including the new 1.5t narrow chassis Aisle-Master articulated truck and the second largest Combilift model of the range – the 14t capacity C14000. Combilift’s “dancing” trucks routine was a half hourly highlight on the stand’s demo area. To a soundtrack of Irish music the Combi-CB display team twirled the two trucks around each other with just inches to spare, showing off not only their highly polished driving skills but also the extreme manoeuvrability of these nifty compact counterbalance design models. Draft Guinness from Ireland served on the hospitality stand opposite the demo area was also, as expected, a big hit with visitors.
“The sheer number of visitors and level of interest in the exhibits on show confirms that Combilift continues to lead the way in innovation in the 4-way and narrow aisle handling sectors,” says MD Martin McVicar.
