At the recently held bidding conference for military warehouse equipment and material handling machines, Sino-American Zhejiang Maximal Forklift Co., Ltd. was highly praised by the army officials and the judges of the committee and finally won the contract value of nearly RMB 10 million Yuan in the five bidding packages including 1-5T internal combustion forklifts and 1-2T battery forklifts.

The successful winning of the bid has created a new record for Maximal in terms of both models and number of forklifts, realizing a historical breakthrough in the developing course of Maximal.

Since the year 2008, Maximal products has been included into the purchasing list of the military. Maximal forklifts, featured with elegant appearance, reliable performance and first-class service, outstood among a lot of famous forklift manufacturers and successfully won the bid set by People's Liberation Army (PLA) General Armament Department for the purchasing project of warehouse equipment.

Last year, Maximal got another bid of PLA General Armament Department for warehouse equipment purchasing. On September 13th, 2010, Maximal cooperated with the military and received an order for warehouse equipment with the contract value of RMB 6.5 million Yuan.

Moreover, it is Maximal's most pride that the company succeeded in developing the first omni-dimensional mobile platform and forklift in China through the cooperation with Academy of Armored Forces Engineering, PLA. The new forklift featured for its maneuverability, convenience and comfort in operation, which realized the zero-radius turning in place and was able to travel laterally forward, backward or sidewise at any angle through the operation of the controlling lever on both sides. The new series of omni-directional forklift totally surpassed the motion and operation methods used for conventional forklifts and the newly-developed technology adopted on the forklift had filled in the gap that the domestic manufacturers lacked in the field.

It was reported in Military Channel of CCTV that the omni-dimensional forklift newly developed by the PLA could be applied in the aircraft carrier, which attracted all the attention. The omni-dimensional forklift in the news that led to such great effect was exactly made by Maximal.
