On October 31, Linde Cup China Forklift Skill Competition - Guangzhou Qualifying Round was successfully held in
China Merchants P&G’s Guangzhou Distribution Center. 36 teams participated in the competition including Amway China, China Merchants Logistics and Guangzhou Toyota Automotive.

Mr. Liao Dan, Sales Director of Linde (China) South Region made a speech in the opening ceremony, “with the Olympic spirit, the competition was held to improve the line worker’s operating skill and efficiency, reduce logistics cost for our customer. ” “Linde forklift truck not only improves our production efficiency and reduces logistics cost, but also brings advanced logistics management concept for us”, says leaders from China Merchants Logistics Guangzhou Logistics Company.

The competition included two programs of individual and team, which can both test the driver’s skill and cooperation capacity. In the individual competition, the players fully showed their speed, accuracy and stability, which also demonstrate the flexibility, accuracy and efficiency of Linde electric counterbalance forklift. The team competition is a greater need for team spirit, which can only be successfully finished with perfect cooperation of two players. Cheers and bursts of applause came from the audience for the excellent performance of the players and Linde forklift truck.

Among 36 teams in the competition, there are three Women’s Teams. All the Women players demonstrated very well and won top 10 after beating the other Men’s teams, which qualified for the regional finals. Besides, Amway team is most eye-catching with a big banner and cheerleading for encouragement. And all the four teams from Amway qualified for the regional finals.
After three and a half hours of intense competition, the winners who will qualify for the regional final competition are as follows:
Men’s Team

#2: Amway Logistics 

#3: York Air Conditioning

Women’s Team 

#1: Amway Factory
#2: Amway Logistics, Guangzhou Toyota Automotive.
