Affiliates of Doosan (Chairman ,Y.H. Park) have opened in succession channels designed exclusively to improve communications with subcontractors.

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction recently opened a “Win-Win Call Center” and began receiving calls on any difficulties or problems arising in the course of trading, and collecting inquiries on assistance programs and suggestions. Doosan Infracore also started operating an exclusive channel for dialogue called the “Hotline for subcontractors” in November.

The companies launched the facilities after recognizing that in order to assure co-growth with subcontractors, they need to instantly and accurately identify any difficulties and problems with suppliers, through dialogues with them.

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction opened an exclusive phone line (080-069-5000 at its Co-growth Initiative Team, as well as a counseling page at the company’s website and its e-Sourcing website (http://e-sourcing.doosanheavy.com:8015). Doosan Infracore also launched an exclusive phone line (080-398-6000) at its Co-growth Initiative Team, and started to gather complaints and suggestions at its websites (http://www.doosaninfracore.com). In principle, the companies are set to give results within 24 hours for issues raised through these exclusive counters.

Executive Managing Director Joongil Lee of the Co-growth Assistance Team at the holding company Doosan Corp. said, “The Win-Win Call Center and the Hotline attest to Doosan’s commitment to boosting communications. We will promptly respond to inconveniences faced by subcontractors to ensure that they can actually sense this change.”

Meanwhile, on October 25, Chairman Y.H. Park visited Jinyoung TBX Co., a subcontractor of Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction, and Samkwang Machinery Co., a supplier of Doosan Infracore, and listened to voices from field sites.
