Mentor offers free money-saving training healthcheck at IMHX
At IMHX, the nation's leading provider of forklift truck training will aim to save companies thousands of pounds with just a five minute chat.

"Businesses can unknowingly be wasting substantial sums of money because they aren't training staff in the most efficient ways to suit their operations," explains Pete Kerfoot, sales manager of Mentor Training.

"Many use their own employees to train operators in-house, when it could be more efficient to use an external provider… or vice-versa."

According to Pete Kerfoot, a short conversation with Mentor Training on IMHX stand 19J96 could help clarify a company's unique requirements and hidden cost factors, delivering savings that could potentially run into thousands of pounds.

Even small businesses with relatively few staff are promised potential benefits; whether in terms of money saved in training and management costs or through improved outcomes.

"There is no question that training delivers massive benefits, but there are a number of variables that affect which training option is right for an individual business… some less obvious than others," says Mr Kerfoot.

Mentor's specialist advisors will be on hand at the exhibition, to perform the calculations based upon not only number of employees, but also location of sites and the short-notice availability of each trainer, among many other factors. They will also be able to clarify any questions regarding best practice, accredited standards and company and individual legal obligations.

Pete Kerfoot continues: "There is no one-size-fits-all solution for training - it depends entirely upon your company's own situation. The problem for most companies is identifying the best course of action - especially as the advice from existing providers is naturally likely to be a little biased."

"As the country's largest training organisation for materials handling, Mentor provides a comprehensive range of regular instructor and train-the-trainer courses as well as more traditional operator training - which enables us to give an open, impartial view of the options available."

"Just five minutes with us at IMHX, or on the phone, could easily help many companies save money into four or five figures - but the only way to find out is to have that chat."
