The International Exhibition of Modern Factory/Process Automation Technology and Equipment 2010 (FA/PA 2010), China International Trade Fair for Material Handling & Logistic Technology 2010 (BMT 2010) and Drive, Motion and Basic Component Exhibition, Beijing 2010 (DMBC 2010) successfully rounded off today May 15th. The three shows staged in concurrence effectively meet the needs of the industrial market in North China. From May 12th to May 15th at the Beijing China International Exhibition Center, the three shows attracted a total of 403 exhibitors from sectors of industrial automation, power transmission and logistics, covering a total display area of 20,000 sqm. The 4-day shows accommodate visitors from home and abroad numbering of 24,950 visits. 

The shows received extensive support from a legion of leading companies of the industries, which include Schneider Electric, Shanghai Pepperl+Fuchs, Weidmueller, Baumer, Siemens Electrical Apparatus, Autonics, ELCO, Pilz, Kuebler, Connectwell, I.L.M.E., Beckhoff, Camozzi, WAGO at FA/PA, Parker Hannifin, STAUFF, Huade, Yuci, Leemin, Liyuan, TSMT, SPD, Fenghua Pneumatics Pavilion, Fuxin Hydraulics Pavilion, SEW, Siemens, Nord, Sumitomo, Oriental, Baldor, Firstbridge, KMC at. DMBC, and Linde, Crown, GLOBAL FRIEND, Maximal, Ruyi, Noblelift, Dinghu, KESHENG, Anwood at BMT. Many exhibiting companies brought their latest products to the shows, catching the eye of the visiting delegation made of representatives from the tobacco equipment and tobacco manufacturing, petro-chemistry, wind power equipment, automobile, lifting equipment and agricultural mechanical equipment manufacturing industries; visits paid by this large group heated up the atmosphere of the shows. 

The world-renowned automation giant Schneider recognizes the growth potential of FA/PA and lent its powerful support to the show by putting on a perfect presentation of its leading product EcoStruxure—an industry wide, full integration solution to save energy and increase efficiency. Saving 30% of the capital operation cost, EcoStruxure meets the goal of environmental protection and impressed many experts at the show.   

GSK brought the ZIY, SIT, GS series of servo motor, featuring the RB08 industrial robots, 6-degree-of-freedom versatile industrial robots which are developed by the company independently. The three robots doing gelatinizing and simulation painting caught the eye of many domestic and overseas visitors. 

DMBC 2010, themed “Green Manufacturing·Energy Saving·Environmental Production”, also received positive feedback from the exhibitors. Beijing Huade Hydraulic Industrial Group Co., Ltd, one of the key enterprises in the hydraulic industry, highly values the show as a golden opportunity to promote its products and expand the market. “Every year, we book large stands to participate in the shows organized by Hannover Milano Fairs. This time as we come to DMBC 2010, we learn about and also from the achievements of our colleagues. The thriving of the entire basic component industry rests not with a single company, but with the entire macro-environment of the industry. ” says Mr. Du Xudong, the general manager of Huade. 

As competition grows in the domestic market, the leading industry player Parker Hannifin also attaches great importance to DMBC 2010 The company presented its most competitive and most widely promoted products— the C3 powerPLmC servo drivers— on its close-to-100-metre show stand, and displayed a complete spectrum of the P1D ISO/VDMA air cylinders featuring the latest innovative design. Ms. Wang Guixia, sales manager of Parker Hannifin, states that the company will focus its market promotion in the Asia-Pacific area; and half of this endeavor will be made in China, their key target in this region. She also made some favorable comments on the organizing of the shows. 

BMT 2010 was themed “Green Manufacturing· Energy Saving· Environmental Production”, in relation to the “Green Beijing” Action Plan which required the establishment of a green logistics system to accelerate the development of intensive, none-polluting, low energy consuming cities. Exhibitors presented a multitude of new high-end products and in this way, made due contributions to the growth of the modern logistic industry. The Carrybee™ AGV displayed by Anwood was a highlight at BMT 2010. AGV is the frontier technology widely used by logistics companies overseas and for the first time showed up in a tangible product at a show in China. The Carrybee™ AGV impressed the audience with its high efficiency, nice appearance and simple operation, bringing visitors the latest information on this cutting-edge automation technology. The show enjoys extensive support and positive response from the exhibitors, all of whom are exceptionally optimistic about the growth potential of logistics industry in north China market. The establishment of Tianjin Port Binhai State-level New Area and the advantageous natural conditions of the city will further boost the market demand for logistics equipment. 

In concurrence with the three shows, the organizer held 12 forums and conferences which include the 4th Industrial Automation Forum, the 9th China-Japan-Korea Crane Safety Symposium, Forum on Technology Innovation of China’s Agri-Machinery, Forum on Modern Factory and Logistics, Technology & Equipment Selection for the Tobacco Industry 2010, Asia Logistics and Supply Chain Summit Forum 2010, etc. Experts and scholars carried out high-end dialogues and in-depth discussions about the key product sectors of the industries, creating a warm atmosphere.
