AUSA will attend the 29th edition of Bauma to be held in Munich from April 19 to 25. The company will showcase a wide selection of its range of dumpers, forklifts, Taurulift, concrete mixers and multiservice vehicles at a 400-m2 stand, number F8-802/2, located in the outdoor exhibition area of the fair. AUSA will avail of the event to present its latest innovations, including a new model in the Taurulift range, the T133H, and a new, semi-industrial version of its C 500H I X4 telescopic forklift. It will also present technical enhancements to the D1000APG dumper, which boasts a new and more complete cabin.
AUSA T133H: the all-in-one solution
AUSA continues to add to its Taurulift range. Following the warm reception given by clients and distributors to the T276H and the smaller T204H, AUSA launches the patented T133H. Four main features make it unique in the market: lifting function, loading function, versatility, thanks to accessories, and ease of transportation. This machine has a load capacity of 1,300 kg at a maximum height of 2.7 m. It maintains the concept of the versatile forklift with telescopic boom to which different implements can be attached. These include a fork with side shift, bucket, grapple, Pelican scoop and Pelican forks. Its small size makes it ideal for handling materials in very tight spaces, meaning that the T133H is extremely useful in a variety of sectors. Indeed, the small dimensions led to the design of an innovative hydraulic drive-axle system. This was developed by the AUSA R&D&i department in cooperation with the French hydraulic engine manufacturer Poclain.
The new hydrobase coupled to the axle, a design patented by the company, is the result of a simplification of structure and parts which gives rise to a lighter and more compact system. This creates greater scope for maintenance operations without a loss of efficiency. Its advantages include, excellent handling, ease of transportation by trailer, the versatility afforded by the attachments, ergonomics with greater space and better access for maintenance, and a forward driver position to facilitate optimal visibility. The T133H has 4x2 traction, a maximum speed of 20 km/h, and it can negotiate gradients of 31%. It is fitted with a 22.4-HP Kubota engine and one-gear hydrostatic transmission. Like all models in the Taurulift range, it comes with a comprehensive range of standard features and a long list of optional extras. All this makes the new model invaluable for a number of tasks on site: unloading of trucks, transport and storage of materials, cleaning of waste, movement of materials on slabs, in basements, inside buildings, etc.
Another Taurulift model, the T204H, will also be on view. The T204H has the capacity to lift 2,000 Kg to a height of 4.2 m. Its permanent 4x4 traction enables it to negotiate gradients of up to 45% when fully loaded. It is fitted with a state-of-the-art 50-HP Kubota V2403 EPA Tier 4 certified diesel engine and hydrostatic transmission. Compact design, excellent manoeuvrability due to low turning radius, and the fact that the same implements used in mini-loaders can be attached, thanks to the Multi-tach system, make this an invaluable, multi-purpose vehicle. Like all models in the range, special emphasis has been placed on ergonomics, safety and ease of maintenance. The folding cabin, excellent visibility and comprehensive standard features facilitate total control and provide maximum comfort for the operator.
hnical enhancements to the D1000APG dumper
At Bauma, AUSA will exhibit different articulated-chassis dumper models with rotating hi-tip unloading. These range in load capacity from 10 tonnes, in the case of the D1000APG, to 1,500 kg for the smaller D150AHG. The middle range includes the D250AHGA, with hi-tip unloading and a capacity of 2,500 kg and the D201RHGS, which has a rigid chassis, a capacity of 2,000 kg, rotating hopper and self-loading shovel. AUSA dumpers stand out because they are robust, compact, powerful and safe. Above all they are extremely versatile, an invaluable quality in terms of current construction sector needs. They are fitted with state-of-the-art Kubota engines and the design ensures that all models afford excellent driver visibility. The hydrostatic transmission and multi-function joystick ensure total control and ease of handling.
Technical enhancements to the D1000APG cabin represent the main innovation for this range to be presented at Bauma 2010. This latest AUSA design is another step forward in terms of safety, stability and ergonomics. The cabin, which is now far more resistant, has attained level II ROPS/FOPS certification for mining and underground work. In addition, it includes the following improvements as standard features: enhanced soundproofing, seat with armrests, mechanical suspension, document holder, ergonomic steering wheel, front and rear windscreen wipers and cleaners, tinted glass windows to enhance visibility and protect against the sun, courtesy light, rear view mirror, auxiliary sockets and special heating system for northern countries. The dumper to be exhibited at Bauma 2010 is a version specifically manufactured for the important Swiss market. Known as the Swiss Edition, this model features a special hopper to meet certification standards in Switzerland. The cabin also has a range of optional extras which include: Hi-fi system, USB connection, Bluetooth connection, and a 6-litre capacity refrigerator that connects to the electrical system of the vehicle.
FullGrip® system for semi-industrial forklifts
AUSA has launched a complete new range of 2WD and 4WD semi-industrial telescopic forklifts from 1.5 to 5 tonnes that incorporate FullGrip® technology. This new traction technology is exclusive to AUSA. It enables the use of 4WD traction only when necessary. In normal conditions the forklift operates in 2WD mode, thereby reducing emissions and fuel consumption to optimise productivity. When the working environment so requires (unforeseen circumstances, difficult terrain, etc.), the operator can switch to 4WD mode at the touch of a button on the joystick. This system is already available in forklifts of 4 and 5 tonnes and is soon to be included in other models from 1.5 to 3.5 tonnes. The C500HIx4, which is fitted with this technology, will be presented at Buama. This forklift, with a load capacity of 5 tonnes and a boom of 3.7 m, is fitted with an 85.6-HP Kubota engine. It has hydrostatic transmission with variable displacement pump and automatic regulation, electric gear inverter and slow approaching pedal.
