On March 18^th, Anhui TCM Forklift Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to celebrate the launch of new series of internal combustion counterbalanced forklift—C-1 in its Hefei factory. Managers from Japan parent company and Anhui TCM Forklift, more than 30 dealers and 50 representatives took part in the launch ceremony, witnessing that C-1 forklift rolling out from the production hall at 15:18 on that afternoon. It was really an exiting moment.

Facing with the challenges taken by the global economic crisis in 2008, Anhui TCM fastly grasped the changes in terms of customer’s demand and mastered the developing tendency of the industry, investing a great deal on the scientific and technological development department, cooperating with the parent company in Japan and finally launching the new series of 2-3 ton internal combustion forklifts which was designed under innovative concept in the shortest time period and was the first series of forklifts sold in China. As one kind of practical products, C-1 was rightly suitable for the mid-end product market. In terms of design concept of C-1 forklifts, the designers stuck to take in the appearance that TCM had been used, while laid more emphasis on enhancing the efficiency, reliability, durability and comfortable degree so as to work under the variable on site operational environment, as well as to meet the demand of China’s customers who would conduct highly intense and frequent operations. The realization of such kind of sharing mode for technological platform had formed another key milestone during the development course of TCM in China.

On the launch ceremony, the attendances, including all the salesmen and after service staff listened to the background introduction of new product development. With the company of the staff from Technology Department, they visited the factory and had a try on the newly-built forklift, convincing that this new series of forklifts would weigh a lot on the forklift market, which would occupy a notable market share in the coming future.  

The new forklift, with unique appearance, was equipped and featured with ergonomic decoration and design around operating panel, and was also matched with strong and clean driving power. The main features could be concluded as follows from such two aspects as performance and comfort:

(1). Performance

The new equipment had maintained the well-proved diesel engine used before, while there also brought in new type of engine—Xinchang engine, which not only was accorded with Grade II standard for national environmental protection, but also substantially realized noise reduction. Under the prerequisite of strengthening the power by a large margin, the new forklift greatly decreased the fuel consumption by 10%. With low gas emission, C-1 internal combustion counterbalanced forklifts reached the perfect balance of strong power and environmental protection.

(2). Comfort

The new forklift descended the tilted cylinder and lowered the height of the instrument panel and entrance stairs. Such a series of ergonomic designs provided the operators with more wide visibility, more broad leg space, which was praised as the perfect combination of advantages to enhance the safety and comfort of the truck.

On the ceremony, the representative from TCM said that the Group would continue to expand the exploration of the market in China, and through rearranging the product layout the company would provide the customers in China with first class products with high price performance ratio as well as completed and professionalized service, in order to root the brand—TCM steadily on Chinese market.
