Hamburg, 24th March 2010 – The STILL RX 70 diesel counter balance truck receives another two international awards: The GOOD DESIGN Award 2009 for pioneering industrial design awarded by the “Chicago Athenaeum” and the “Green DOT Award 2009” (second place) for pioneering and ecologically responsible products in the transport category.

The Still RX 70 with load capacities of 2.2 to 3.5 tonnes is the most economic diesel truck of its class. It proves that economy, sustainability and a user-friendly design are an achievable combination.

The secret of its low fuel consumption is its diesel-electric drive with efficient components of hybrid technology.

The GOOD Design Award which has been awarded annually since 1950 is the oldest and most renowned award for innovative products and design worldwide. The independent “Chicago Athenaeum” in the USA promotes the positive influence design has on improving the quality and life for people. The award winning design of the RX 70 is the result of many years of cooperation between Still and the design office TEAMS DESIGN in Hamburg.

For the Green DOT Award 2009, the jury in Los Angeles California chose the “Top Three” out of thousands of applicants from over 25 countries. The Green Dot Award™ promotes future-oriented, sustainable and environmentally friendly products.
