Perkins Engines Company Limited has appointed S.C. Maviprod srl as its official distributor for Hungary.

Based in Budapest, Hungary, Maviprod kft. will provide the Hungarian market with sales, service and distribution support for Perkins engines and parts.

S.C. Maviprod srl has acted as a Perkins distributor for Romania for more than seven years and Moldova since 2008.

“I am delighted to be working with Maviprod as we seek to improve the service and distribution network currently offered in Hungary," said Norbert Schuchert, general manager Perkins Germany.

"These are exciting times as we strive to provide customers with an excellent level of product support across Hungary."

Cornel Vasile, Perkins development manager for Maviprod said the appointment represented an opportunity for the company to expand its customer base.
