A green bonus - trucks traded in through the program will be recycled.

The Raymond Corporation recently announced they are helping companies to upgrade their existing lift truck fleets by offering cash incentives to purchase new, more efficient equipment. Through the Raymond L.I.F.T. (Lift truck Incentive For Trade) program, warehouses and distribution centers will receive cash incentives for upgrading their existing Raymond and non-Raymond lift trucks that are 12 years old or older. Cash incentives vary depending on the make and model of the lift truck being traded.

“New lift trucks can enable companies to improve productivity and energy efficiency for reduced total cost of ownership,” said Joe Ginnetti, vice president of sales for The Raymond Corporation. “For example, a regenerative lowering feature, found on new Raymond 9000 Series Swing-Reach lift trucks, recharges the lift truck battery when the forks are lowered to increase battery life.”

Another important component of the L.I.F.T. program is recycling. Due to the high recyclability of the iron and steel from which lift trucks are constructed, up to 97% of each Raymond truck is recyclable. Trucks traded in through the Raymond L.I.F.T. program will be recycled.

Raymond and non-Raymond trucks can be traded in until March 31, 2010. Click here to learn more about the L.I.F.T. program.
