Lexington, KY – CLARK Material Handling Company was recognized by the United Way of the Bluegrass for their Volunteer and Philanthropy efforts in the community. CLARK was honored by receiving the 2009 Central Kentucky Volunteer Award in the Corporate Category. This award has honored top organizations for the past 24 years. The event was sponsored by United Way of the Bluegrass and Lexmark. An independent panel of judges had the difficult task of choosing the winner.

Employees fulfill this mission by providing support of their time, talents, and money to organizations, projects, and initiatives that reflect the goals and values of the company to enrich the community and improve the world around us.

Receiving the 2009 Central Kentucky Volunteer Award, validates the philanthropic efforts of our employees and the time they invest in our community” said Dennis Lawrence, CLARK’s president and CEO.

 

CLARK is honored to receive this prestigious award. Clark has a team of employees who volunteer to oversee its corporate donations and philanthropy work. This team and all of CLARK’s employees work tirelessly to make a difference in our community. Employees are active in numerous local causes including Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Habitat for Humanity, UM Home for Children, American Diabetes Association, United Way, Humane Society, Carl D. Perkins Vocational School and many other organizations.
