On Dec.31^st, 2008, a newest world record in the field of construction machinery was created in Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., which referred to the successful roll-off of self-designed concrete pump truck with the longest 72m arm in the world.

72m has broken through the world record. This is another leap forward in terms of concrete pump technology, rather than the simple enlargement of the former 65m-pump truck, which symbolized that Sany Heavy Industry has possessed the core technology and moved to the leading position in the world.

According to the introduction of Executive President of Sany Heavy Industry Yi Xiaogang, the key of this 72m-punp truck breaking through the intelligent control technology of large-scaled machinery was due to the convergence of equipment manufacturing technology and modern information technology. The supporting leg, arm, conveying and controlling system of the pump truck had all presented the innovation of Sany Heavy Industry on technologies. He explained that, this 72m-pump truck had created two records as the length of the concrete pump truck arm reached 72m and the conveying capacity of concrete ranked to be the largest as well in the world.

After the 10-year’s development, Sany pump truck integrated lots of leading technologies in the industry including super-conveyance, side-support, computer energy-saving control, arm vibration control, X-type supporting leg, anti-rolling control, SYMC control and intelligent arm control. The advanced technologies applied in terms of pump truck of Sany have been adopted in manufacturing construction machinery products, and have led the technological development of the industry.

In 2008, Sany Heavy Industry realized nearly 30% increase in the marketing sales of pump truck.
