NISSAN has released a series of forklift trucks said to be uniquely environmentally friendly.

The company claims the 1F4-Series is the only 3.5 to five tonne forklift truck with a fuel injected engine and closed loop catalytic converter.

The forklift trucks have a reinforced mast, sturdier drive, and improved shielding of the engine and axle from dust and water.

According to the manufacturer, other features include lower fuel consumption, lower emissions, reduced total lifecycle costs, and an engine with more power and higher productivity.
