Seeing from the ranking list of 2008 China Top 500 Enterprises issued by China Enterprise Confederation and China Federation of Entrepreneurs on Aug. 30^th, the entry of top 500 enterprises kept rising in these seven years. The entry value of 2008 China Top 500 Enterprises increased about RMB 2.1 billion Yuan than that in the previous year. In terms of overall scale, the revenue of 2008 China Top 500 Enterprises increased 25.0%, total assets increasing 13.2%, twice as that of 2002 Top 500 Enterprises. 

2008 China Top 500 Enterprises were from 74 sectors, among which most of Top 500 were from ferrous metallurgy and pressing industry, construction industry, coal mining and processing industry. During this evaluation, SinoPec Group ranked on the top of the list again with revenue of over RMB 1.2 trillion Yuan. In the field of construction machinery industry, tens of enterprises such as Xugong, Sany and Zoomlion were listed in.
