Industrial Truck Institution of China Construction Machinery Association (CITA for short) held the Preparatory Meeting for Inauguration of Forklift Leasing Committee at the meeting room on the 2^nd floor of Ever-Bright Convention and Exhibition Center. Relevant leaders and representatives from enterprises attended the meeting, including Secretary General of CITA Su Enyi, Standing Deputy Secretary General of CITA Zhang Jie, Anhui Heli Co., Ltd., Zhangjiang Hangcha Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd., Linde (China) Forklift Truck Co., Ltd., Jungheinrich Lift Truck (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Toyota Material Handling (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Hyster Forklift Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Crown Equipment Corporation（Shanghai）Office, Doosan Infracore (China) Co., Ltd., Vita-Wheel Holdings Ltd., MCF Forklift (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Jinjiu Equipments Leasing Co., Ltd., Shanghai AEAC Logistics Equipment Co., Ltd., Shanghai Qijin Machinery & Equipment Co., Ltd., Shanghai Haofan Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Ever-together Logistics System Co., Ltd., totally 51 people in addition to some auditing enterprises and main media of forklift field.

The meeting was presided over the Standing Deputy Secretary General of CITA Zhang Jie. She firstly introduced the aim of establishing Forklift Leasing Committee and said:” In recent years, with increasing development demand for logistics industry, forklift developed fast as the most fundamental equipment for material handling, while forklift leasing emerged as the times require due to the profits bringing to the customers. Among our member units, some have been engaged in forklift leasing business in China and some are in the preparation. We acknowledged from the communication with them that CITA was expected to do some favor in terms of forklift leasing, which thus became an important issue in the working plan of CITA. Forklift leasing business is still in the very beginning stage in China and there is a long way to go. As the only one specialized service organization for forklift industry approved by Ministry of Civil Affairs, we hope to make use of CITA’s influences at home and abroad to provide a platform for all the enterprises engaging in forklift leasing so that we can open our work of propaganda, statistics, training and information communication together under the industry standard and regulations, enabling forklift leasing business to develop healthily and orderly on Chinese market.

Then, Secretary General of CITA Su Enyi gave a speech on issues ranging from the development status of industrial vehicles in China and current economic situation to the necessity and future tendency of forklift leasing business in China.

The attending enterprises respectively introduced their own leasing operations, sharing their experiences and discussing the difficulties and problems in leasing process with each other.

As this meeting gathered the famous enterprise in Chinese forklift leasing industry, among which some are specialties appointed from foreign companies to open new business in China, or experts engaging in research of forklift leasing as well as entrepreneur with abundant experiences on forklift leasing, they have put forward quite representative questions.

General Manager of Shanghai AEAC Logistics Equipment Co., Ltd. Liu Shihong referred to the current developing status of forklift leasing industry in China and the world on the basis of his research to forklift market. He believed that leasing business in China was prospective and then elaborated some details related to forklift leasing.

In the second period of the meeting, the enterprises filled in the survey of Chinese forklift leasing market, which would be collected and formed to be a forklift leasing market report as a reference to the members. After that, the meeting conducted discussion about the work rules and all the enterprises said that they would support CITA to establish Forklift Leasing Committee, which was significant not only for the forklift leasing market but also all of the enterprises engaging in forklift leasing business. Through discussion circulating around the main function, organization and joining procedures of Forklift Leasing Committee, the meeting decided that Forklift Leasing Committee would in the charge of CITA and then appointed General Manager of Shanghai AEAC Logistics Equipment Co., Ltd. Liu Shihong to be the first Chairman of Forklift Leasing Committee.

The representatives expressed that they were profitable from the meeting; meanwhile, as the future work of Forklift Leasing Committee will be hard and important, they hope to hold the inauguration meeting of Forklift Leasing Committee under the leadership of CITA as soon as possible so that they can open their work according to the committee and make more contribution to the forklift leasing industry in China.

The meeting ended successfully with the conclusion that a new market needs the efforts of industry organization, enterprises and the staff who are ready to contribute to grow up and own bright future.
