On May 30^th, 5000^th excavator rolled off the line in Sany Heavy Industry (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. The experts considered that the national self-owned brand excavator has driven into the fast lane.

Sany Heavy Industry experienced a hard development course. In 2000, Sany Group entered excavator industry and established Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. in Changsha in 2002. In 2006, Sany Heavy Industry moved into Kunshan Industrial Park and the sales income reached RMB 1.18 billion Yuan in 2007.

In recent years, Sany Heavy Industry kept technological innovation, aiming at establishing international brand. Through deeply digging into domestic market, Sany Heavy Industry has expanded international market and greatly improved the popularity and competitive force of the products. After years’ development, Sany Heavy Industry developed into a domestic excavator manufacturing enterprise with the longest product line and most varieties from a small-scaled enterprise with annual output of 200 sets, of which some technologies have led the same industry in the world, honored to be the First Brand of Domestic Excavator.

According to the General Manager of Sany Heavy Industry Dai Qinghua, excavator manufacturing belongs to fund-intensive, technology-intensive and labor-intensive industry. 1000 sets is the key line for the excavator production, and now Sany has rolled off its 5000^th unit, which means that the first strategic stage of Sany has ended and the company will start its fast development.
