On June 1^st, 2008, the new product XC4V33 diesel engine developed by Zhejiang Xinchai Co., Ltd. and American Southwest Research Institute (SwRL) was successfully ignited. This product fully owns the independent intellectual right.

It is an important act for the company to develop off highway engine XC4V33 of high efficiency, energy-saving, low emission and noise at the international advanced level so as to completely adapt the fierce market competition at home and abroad as well as further improving the competitive force of the products. The successful ignition of the engine is a sign of Xinchai to possess the 2^nd generation of new products to take part in international competition, laying sound foundation for stronger development of Xinchai in the future.

This project was started from January 15^th, 2007. After 17 months’ efforts of Xinchai Technology Center New Product Scientific Research Team, SwRL and the staff in the lab and material supply lines, the engines were finally settled and ignited successfully
