China International Forklift & Accessories Exhibition 2008, the No.1 exhibition of forklifts in China Northern Area was grandly held in Qingdao International Convention & Exhibition Center from April 23^rd to 25^th. This exhibition, held simultaneously with the 8^th China International Material Handling and Logistics Expo, was the most influencing industry exhibition in the Bohai, Huanghai and Huaihai Sea Economic Belt as well as a specialized exhibition with large scale and wide affection. With advanced technology, high-efficiency and durable features and reasonable price, these new products not only represented the highest technique in forklift industry, but also the new developing momentum of forklift manufacture, especially for Shantui, who entered forklift market in 2007 and showed its new products and technologies as well as on-spot demonstration on this exhibition. This exhibition integrated forklift and accessories, warehouse equipment and technology together with transporting equipments, building up a product supply chain of material handling equipments in an all round way, offering more convenience for the industrial visitors’ purchase and cooperation, and more broadly displaying the systemization of the exhibition. This exhibition strengthened the organizing force of specialized visitors. Commercial Department was set up and 28173 specialized purchasers were registered in commercial inviting period. There have attracted 30000 visitors in three days, 80% of whom came from the field of industrial investment, technology and cooperation related to food, pharmacy, household apparatus, electronics, auto manufacturing, metal processing, paper making, printing, packaging, stone materials, petroleum and chemicals, shipping and logistics. The visitors inspected the latest innovative results in the industry on the exhibition and conducted face-to face communications with business partners. It is initially estimated that the lowest dealing value of trade on the exhibition was RMB 86.3 million Yuan.
